On 27 and 28 January 2026, the national exhibition Expo Event Industry 2026 took place at Sofia Event Center – a leading event for the congress and event industry in Bulgaria. The forum was organized by the Bulgarian Convention Bureau and the Sofia Municipality, with the aim of bringing together the professional community, encouraging knowledge exchange, and accelerating the development of the sector at both national and international level.
Among the active participants in the exhibition was the Sunny Day Resort, represented by its Director of Marketing and Sales, who presented the complex to visitors and industry professionals as a year-round destination for congresses, corporate events, and teambuilding activities. The presentation highlighted the hotel facilities, the wide range of conference venues, the balneo and SPA resources, as well as the strategic location of the resort, just 7 km from the city of Varna.
Expo Event Industry 2026 brought together representatives of the congress and event industry, including hotels, congress centers, destinations, professional event organizers, and technology providers. Within the two-day program, participants had the opportunity to attend presentations, panel discussions, and thematic modules focused on innovation, sustainability, digitalization, and the future of the event business.
