The beach of Sunny Day was rated with the certificate "Blue Flag".

The very long beach of "Sunny Day Resort" is rated with the "Blue Flag Certificate" .

The "Blue Flag Certificate" evaluates beaches for their seawater quality, cleanliness, environmental friendliness, safety, services and facilities for tourists, nature protection, shore and coastal zone.

The campaign takes place in nearly 50 countries around the world and was launched in 1987 at the initiative of the Environmental Education Foundation and the European Commission.

The beach of "Sunny Day Resort" is the only "Blue flag" beach near Varna.

Green Renewable Energy Certificate

Sunny Day Resort received a Green Renewable Energy Certificate proving that 100% of the electricity used in the resort is produced from renewable energy sources.

Sunny Day Resort has been awarded the Blue Flag certificate for 2021

The Blue Flag Award is given annually to coastal destinations that have achieved the highest quality of water, facilities, safety and management.

In both the 2020 and 2021 seasons, particular attention is being paid to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. On the beaches awarded this year, in addition to all other criteria, special measures are being implemented against the spread of the virus.
